Happy New Year ('08)
HAPPY NEW YEAR!! (I know some of you have been in the third day of 2008.) As you know, I just came back from the countryside, which was a very refreshing trip. My first thing was to check e-mails and then to surf the internet to catch up with the modern world.
During the holidays, I have heard about "Facebook" for several times. Finally, Monica invited me into that crazy world. I spent the whold evening to create my own facebook - not sure if it was worth it at this moment, but I did. @@ Creating my facebook profile reminded me the purpose of starting this blog two years ago. I was trying to keep in touch with my family in Taiwan. I also wanted to share some thoughts with friends who were not around. As my schedule got tight, I found out the difficulties of writing articles frequently. It was hard to share some thoughts in public as well. Because of the reasons, I guess facebook would be a good media to communicate with friends. Well, I will not give up blogging here, just let you know. From now on, I will also share other information with you in my facebook.
About my new year's resolution, I hope my family and friends are doing well and keeping good health. I also hope I can finish my study and move on. My last wish is @*%%.... (secret ;)
p.s. In the New Year's Eve, Jashua Bell's performance with the New York Philharmonic was broadcasted on the TV. His great skills were inspiring. (FYI: I am going to his concert in Pittsburgh in the near future. YA!) He performed Fritz Kreisler's "Liebesleid" ("Love's Sorrow") and "Liebesfreud" ("Love's Joy") in this concert. Unfortunately, I only found the following clip of the song, Liebesleid.

Hey, you changed the background... It seems that you do fresh up! Enjoy the crazy world, have fun and best wishes!
It was extremely cold here now. The facebook drag my attention out of the cold, in a good way. It is also kind of addicting, but I will try to post my trip logs soon. Stay tuned.
Hope you stay warm in the other end of the globe ~~ Cheers!
